Lan Mai

Financial Manager

Lan Mai joined BASI Pilates in 2015 and currently serves as the Financial Manager who oversees and advises on all aspects of the company’s accounting, payroll, and financial activities. Prior to BASI, he provided accounting services for large companies such as Hyundai, Zodiac Aerospace, Allergan and other manufacturing companies. Among other positions, Lan was the CFO was for a publicly traded company which provided home foreclosure mitigation services. He was the Controller for a Contract Research Organization which provided project management services to pharmaceutical companies to obtain FDA approval for drugs and medical devices. Lan was the General Manager for a large commodity brokerage firm in California. During his 10 years at that firm, he was able to help the company grow in revenue from five million dollars when he first joined to over $70 million annually and eventually sold for over $100 million. Lan also worked in the banking and credit union industry for over five years. During that time, he participated in a number of the industry’s national and international operations and security committees which advised on network standards, rules, regulations for ATM, credit card and other EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) services. Lan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Long Beach.
